Making Our Way Out of the Caterpillar/Butterfly Cocoon
…transitioning from the chrysalis
You are invited to play a little game with me…involving a new framing of the pandemic.
What if at the beginning of 2020, we humans entered a vast paradox:
1) in many ways, we human caterpillars were called into our cocoons…to begin dissolving our caterpillar-ness: all that had held us in form and caterpillar consciousness.
Within that birthing womb, or what we now know to call the Chrysalis, ‘imaginal’ cells emerged to carry forth the profound job of transfiguration…of the deep transformation needed.
2) in the same paradoxical time, we human caterpillars resisted the call to blossom into our true nature…and stayed in the habits, patterns, limitations and stagnations of our whole life…to continue “working out various issues”.
We stewed in a detoxification process as our hatred and grief at the wrongness of Others…and our judgmentalism towards Life itself festered and oozed forth as palpable divisiveness and polarization…steadily projecting all of that onto whatever I/We could not accept.
…could not accept in others or Myself/Ourselves.
PRIMARY QUESTIONs for moving forward:
How do I heal the separation within myself, now?
How do we integrate the various parts of ourselves again?
That is, how do I best navigate this reality…and find a F L O W?
Possibilities: Treat others as I want to be treated.
See the divinity within others, the best I can.
Accept the simple human-ness that we each are…without expectations that anyone else (nor I) should be any different than we are.
Blessings & Namasté,
Gene
